I started writing poetry in my early twenties. My wife said to me one day, “Hey, why don’t you write a novel?” I laughed and said, “Are you kidding me?” I went down to a park bench in Long Beach, California, and the rest is history. Not all stories end that well, especially when there’s a killer on the loose.

​Conrad Conley was born in the rolling hills of West Virginia and was raised in the beautiful state of Georgia, the Peach State. He likes golf, snowboarding, wine tasting, and an occasional cocktail to wet the whistle. The Scorpion Killer is Conrad’s first book. He resides in Southern California with his wife and two children.
